Presentation of: EGLISE SAINT PIERRE ET SAINT PAUL
The church is placed under the double title of SAINT-PIERRE and SAINT-PAUL. The fact that today it is simply called "Saint-Pierre church" is the result of the facilities of oral language or adopted by the inhabitants and their parish priests.
The building and its architecture have evolved over the centuries. The oldest part dates from the 12th century, recognisable by its slate roof, and the part covered in red tiles corresponds to the Gothic period.
The church was burnt down by Protestants during the Wars of Religion, and again in 1794. Each time, it was rebuilt by the parishioners. Its current appearance is the result of renovation work carried out between 1998 and 2003.
