EGLISE SAINT MARTIN

The church of St Martin d'Echemiré dates from the 11th century and has a Latin cross plan with a chevet framed by oriented chapels.

The apse and the apsidioles of the chevet were raised in the 13th century by several courses of cut tufa stone, which bear the remains of a painted seigniorial litre.
