Eglise Saint Jean Baptiste
One of the highest churches in Loire-Atlantique.
This neo-Gothic church (1858-1875) was built by the architect Faucher, and features the listed fresco of St Gilles (1170-1180) and the fresco of the First World War inscribed by Abbé Bouchaud (1926), as well as an inscribed Bas-relief of Moses (1821) by Dominique Molchnecht. ||
The painting of St Jean Baptiste (1827) inscribed and offered by King Charles X to the town of Le Loroux Bottereau after the Vendée wars.
