Église Saint-Denis - Candé

The church of Saint-Denis is built on the site of an 11th-century building. It is located in Candé, in the heart of Anjou Bleu and 15 km from Ancenis.

The church of Saint-Denis stands on the site of the former parish church built in the 11th century. It was rebuilt for the first time in the 17th century. The general condition of the building had deteriorated considerably and it had to be rebuilt from scratch in the 19th century.
Today, the church of Saint-Denis de Candé is open all year round.
