CHAPELLE DE LA MAGDELAINE

12th-century chapel, remodelled in the early 19th century

This chapel was built at the same time as the Saint-Lazare hospital, whose patron saint was Mary Magdalene. The leprosarium was entrusted to the Abbey of Blanche Couronne, itself founded in 1160.
It contains an original credence table and a 15th-century polychrome statue in soft limestone of the Virgin of Notre-Dame de Grâce.
