Parcours-découverte du 1er Grand Prix de l'Automobile Club de France
The 1st Grand Prix de l'Automobile Club de France, forerunner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, was held on 26 and 27 June 1906 (won by Ferenc Szisz in a Renault 3A) in what is now the Perche Sarthois region.
Today, you can retrace most of the 100 km of this historic route, passing through the forks of Auvours, Bouloire, Saint Calais, Vibraye, Cherré and Montfort le Gesnois. 11 commemorative totem poles and a discovery booklet are available to accompany you on your walk.Practical information
