Observatoire astronomique de Saint-Saturnin

Created on 11 January 1979, the Association Astronomique d'Anjou (AAA) aims to encourage its members to take an interest in, practise and learn about astronomy, and to promote astronomy to a wider public.
In July and August, astronomical observations every Friday evening from dusk onwards, weather permitting (free of charge) at the Saint Saturnin sur Loire Observatory. Groups are welcome on request, subject to availability and weather conditions (for group rates, please contact the association). Two- or three-day courses are also organised for young people every year during the winter school holidays (prices on request).
