Presentation of: CANAL MARITIME DE LA BASSE-LOIRE

The canal opened in 1892 after 10 years of construction works. It was used for naviguation to Nantes of merchant ships until 1911.

Now it's a very pleasant place for long walks, fishing, kayaking, cycling...
