LES MARAIS DE MAZEROLLES

The Marais de Mazerolles covers 1130 hectares along the left bank of the Erdre to the north-east of Sucé.

A paradise for flora and fauna, it is home to 169 species of birds, many of them migratory, and some very rare and protected plants. The subsoil is rich in peat, 20 to 40 metres of sand and water.
