La Place Napoléon

With its four pools, the three-hectare Place Napoléon is the ideal place to relax.

Designed by architect Alexandre Chemetoff as an "open-air living room", the square features benches and grassed areas where you can stroll along the water's edge.

50,000 flowers, plants and trees adorn the square, including maples, liquidambars, honey trees, sweet peas, jasmines, marsh lilies, purple loosestrife and water lilies.

Guided tours of the square are available - contact the La Roche sur Yon Tourist Office (02 51 36 00 85).
