Parc Oriental de Maulévrier
Europe's largest Japanese garden is just 10 minutes from Cholet!
It's a walk filled with serenity that awaits you: between symbolism and Japanese-style pruning, you'll be amazed by the beauty of the landscape.Between mid-March and mid-November, the park takes on a new look, revealing different colours and smells.
You can also take advantage of the tea room and its many flavours, the Plant Pavilion with its bonsai exhibition and its souvenir shop.
From May to September, the park can also be visited at night: accompanied by a lantern, the route around the pond is punctuated by Japanese stories, a chance to enjoy the reflections and incredible lighting effects.
Tip: save between €0.50 and €1.50 on your tickets by booking them with the Choletais Tourist Office.
