Le jardin de la mairie

Located behind the town hall, this former garden offers a place to relax and stroll in the heart of the village.

As its name suggests, the Jardin de la Mairie is attached to the Moutiers-en-Retz town hall, located behind the building. It was laid out during the Middle Ages by the priory of the Ronceray Benedictine nuns from Angers.

The first entrance, with its attractive wrought-iron gate, is opposite the tourist office and the post office. Alternatively, a wooden door opposite the bakery is open during Town Hall opening hours.

During the summer months, children's events and intimate concerts are held in this garden.
