The oldest and largest mill in Seiches sur le Loir, on the banks of the Loir.

Everything suggests that it is the oldest and the most important.

After 28 October 1150, a record was found of Geoffrey of Plantagenet's decision in favour of the monks of Saint Aubin Abbey: this document concerns a mill established in the parish of Seiches. It must have operated for several centuries with three pairs of millstones, as a wheat mill under the control of the Mathefelon and then Durtal families.

The mill ceased to operate continuously from 1930. In 1980, it was bought by a private individual who completely restored it to make it his home. It changed ownership in 1997.
