GAEC Anjou Biquettes in Cheffes - Farmhouse cheeses and yoghurts on the local circuit
Located in Cheffes, near Tiercé, the Anjou Biquettes farm is a 22-hectare all-grass family goat farm. Jean-Paul Chauvet relaunched the business in 2016, joined by his son Gaëtan in 2019. All the milk produced is processed on site into farmhouse cheeses made from raw milk and farmhouse yoghurts.Concerned about the environment and animal welfare, we favour sustainable practices: no phytosanitary products, GMO- or soya-free feed, integrated pest management and a park dedicated to animal welfare to allow the goats to age.
