At times blue, where through the foliage you can enjoy the marvellous windows opening onto the Isac, at other times green, with its wet meadows, marshes and surrounding hedged farmland.
And all along the way, keep your eyes peeled for a rich heritage - an oven, a chapel, wind turbines - to punctuate this magnificent landscape.
