Randonnée "Vallée de l'Aiguefou"

Discover the Mauges countryside between St Germain and Montfaucon.

Starting out from the village, this trail takes walkers along the banks of the Aiguefou stream, through a splendid setting of forest and clearings. After crossing the stream, the paths reveal a landscape of fields and agricultural plots.

Along the way, you'll come across the ancient fountain of rusty water and the Atlas Cedar.

This trail is perfect for taking a picnic break, discovering the superb scenery and going for a walk!

Good to know :
* Some sections are not shaded: in summer, don't forget sun cream, a hat and a water bottle.
* The Aiguefou picnic area is available at the start of the route.
* There are benches all along the route where you can take a break.
* Two toilets are available: one at Saint-Germain-sur-moine town hall, the other near the stadium, rue du chemin des dames.
* Dogs are allowed on the route
* Trail suitable for bicycles
