Step by step, you'll discover the history of schist, the characteristic stone of the region that has shaped the Nozé landscape.

Dug and worked since ancient times to pave Roman roads and build manor houses, barns, calvaries, churches, wash-houses and ovens, bluestone is dotted around the local villages and hamlets.
You can also take advantage of this walk to visit the Enclos du Vieux-Bourg and the Carrière de la Pierre Bleue.
