The historic village of Châtelais and its bucolic countryside will hold no more secrets for you. You start out in the heart of the village, where the architecture transports you back to antiquity and the Middle Ages. You'll continue along the lanes, enjoying a diversity of landscapes and natural environments. This escapade in the north of the Anjou region is a bit of a challenge, with some changes in altitude. But the reward is there: superb views over the Mayenne on one side of the crest of a hill that marks the border between the two departments, and the Maine-et-Loire on the other.
