CIRCUIT DE LA FILÉE
Situated to the south of the Nantes conurbation, at the gateway to the vineyards and close to the Grand-Lieu lake, the commune of Les Sorinières is a real link between town and country.
With more than 25 hectares of natural areas, Les Sorinières has earned its reputation as a "green commune". To discover this wealth of natural resources and get some fresh air, take the Filée circuit. Covering a distance of almost 10 kilometres, this loop will appeal to young and old alike. Bordered by beech, oak, birch and poplar trees, this shady path runs alongside meadows and market gardens, where you can see the vast expanses of greenhouses. From time to time, it plunges into undergrowth. If you feel like it, you can take a break under the foliage. Benches are dotted along the way.
Halfway along the route, take the time to discover the Parc de la Filée. This remarkable 12-hectare natural area is full of surprises. A vast stretch of water, lined with fishermen, awaits you. In the distance, the poplars stand proudly, their leaves rustling in the wind. Under the trees, wide expanses of lawn provide picnic tables and play areas for the little ones. A stream, the Ognon, flows just a few metres away.
There is also a footbridge across the Ognon, linking Les Sorinières to Pont-Saint-Martin.
