BOUCLE DU BELVEDERE (N°101)

Nature walk in the forest starting from the Mont des Avaloirs lookout.

Hiking loop (64% dirt) starting from the Mont des Avaloirs lookout car park. Turn right onto the road. After 300m, turn right onto a woodland track that leads to a tarmac path less than a kilometre further on. After around 300m, turn right onto a well-marked path. CAUTION: shortly afterwards, turn left onto a country lane marked with a yellow arrow. Do not go straight on towards the Pierre au Loup (private site). Go down this old country lane, which continues on the left (yellow arrow) along a lovely sunken track down to the edge of the wood. Cross a field and again take a grassy path with a chicane at the end. Alternatively, turn left onto the Chemin de la Timberdière to rejoin the route via Hautes Loignières. Turn right onto the tarmac track as far as the level crossing. Turn right and follow the Chemin de la Procession for almost two kilometres to the Trois Seigneurs crossroads. Return right along the road to the Belvedere.
