Route Européenne D'Artagnan
The Route Européenne d'Artagnan is the first equestrian route to be awarded the European label, in the same way as the Route de Compostelle for pedestrians. It will eventually offer 10,000 km of equestrian itineraries across the six European countries it passes through, including 1,000 km in the Pays de la Loire region.
In Anjou, the Route Européenne D'Artagnan runs between Touraine and Vendée. Starting in the town of Montsoreau, it will take in the south of Sèvremoine, passing through Saumur, Angers, Brissac-Quincé, Rochefort-sur-Loire, Chalonnes-sur-Loire, Mauges-sur-Loire, Montrevault-sur-Evre and Beaupréau-en-Mauges.
