Tour of the Forêt de Pail and the Alpes Mancelles starting from the FFV Les Perles mountain bike base in Averton
Route no. 7 "Tour de la Forêt de Pail et des Alpes Mancelles" is based on route no. 7 of the Alpes Mancelles FFC mountain bike area and is marked in red. There are two possible departures: from "le Gasseau" in St-Léonard-des-Bois or the FFV mountain bike base "les Perles" in Averton. This is a demanding and physical circuit with technical sections and a significant difference in altitude between St-Léonard-des-Bois and St-Cénéri-le-Gérei. The route takes in the Alpes Mancelles and its picturesque villages of St-Léonard-des-Bois and St-Cénéri-le-Gérei. The main feature of this area, as its name suggests, is its unusual topography in the West and the charm of its steep-sided valleys. Although the altitude is modest, its rocky and forested landscapes are surprisingly beautiful.
