Presentation of: EGLISE SAINT MARTIN DE TOURS

This parish church was built in 1830 on the site of a Romanesque church became cramped, some relics remain in the rear. Embellished in 1880, it houses stained valuable glass, registered under the Historic Monuments, recalling the wars of Vendee, the epic western Volunteers and Papal Zouaves ( 1860 to 1871 ), World War I and other religious themes. One can also admire a beautiful copy of the "Crucifixion" of van Dyck. Open all year. An explanatory brochure can be consulted. A guided tour is available by appointment : go for it at the Tourist Office .
