Église Saint-Martin de Vertou - Le Lion-d'Angers

Situated 15 minutes from Angers, in the heart of Anjou Bleu, the church of Saint-Martin-de-Vertou was built in the 11th century in the centre of the town of Le Lion d'Angers.

The church was founded in the 11th century and is dedicated to Saint Martin de Vertou. Altered in the 19th century, the church still retains its Romanesque nave, one of the oldest in the département. Inside, you can admire 16th-century frescoes.
