Dolmen de Bagneux
An impressive monument dating back to the Neolithic period, the Bagneux dolmen has 15 slabs and weighs over 500 tonnes.
The dolmen at Bagneux are of the Angevin type, consisting of a chamber preceded by a portico. The 18-metre-long burial chamber is still intact, and the regularity with which the huge sandstone blocks are laid is surprising.
