Port Saint-Michel
Located in the heart of the town centre, this small beach protected by its jetty welcomes families all day long. From April to October, the famous yellow beach huts can be found on this beach.
In July and August, the Mickey's club is open for children's fun: swimming pool, trampoline, games .... Swimming lessons (from age 5) are given in a heated indoor pool (30°C).
There is a mooring area next to the swimming area.
An accessibility mat is available at the entrance to the beach for people with reduced mobility. They are available from 15 June to 15 September (weather permitting).
Dogs and other animals are not allowed on any of the beaches, even on a lead, between 10am and 8pm from 15 April to 30 September. Further information can be found in the municipal by-law "General police regulations for bathing and nautical activities in the waters surrounding the beaches of the municipality of Batz-sur-Mer" below.
It is forbidden to light beach fires on the Port Saint-Michel beach and to smoke in the "smoke-free areas" on the beach.
Metal detection is subject to authorisation. Authorisation must be obtained from the Municipal Police. For more information, download the municipal by-law "General police regulations governing bathing and water sports activities on the beaches of the municipality of Batz-sur-Mer" below.
