LA CORNICHE VENDÉENNE
The Corniche Vendéenne, a listed site (from the anse de la Goutaille to la Pelle à Porteau) since 1926, is the only remaining part of the former Ile de Rié.
The Corniche Vendéenne stretches for 3 kilometres from Sion to St Gilles Croix de Vie, and offers a pleasant walk or cycle ride thanks to the development carried out to protect this site, which has retreated by 10 metres in 70 years. The cliffs can reach heights of 7 to 8 metres.Contact
