Auberge des Soeurs Moisy
In the heart of one of France's Most Beautiful Villages, Saint-Céneri-le-Gérei, discover the Auberge des Soeurs Moisy, a "temple" to the history of local painting.
Like Pont Aven or Barbizon, the Auberge des Sœurs Moisy was one of the holiday resorts and meeting places for famous painters who, at the end of the 19th century, came to the Alpes Mancelles and Saint-Céneri-le-Gérei in particular to draw their inspiration. This inn, run for many years by the "Moisy sisters", welcomed these famous artists. The walls still bear witness to this history. The inn also owes its originality to the famous "Beheading Room", listed as an ISMH monument.
Guided tours available by prior arrangement. During the high season, a tourist information point is located on the ground floor of the inn.
