Parc paysager de la Torre
This 3-hectare park was created by the town on a natural area belonging to the Commune. The town council wanted to turn it into a natural garden open to walkers.
Some planting was carried out in the early 1990s. Since autumn 2017, a community orchard has been planted with apple, pear, cherry, almond and plum trees, and a pond has been dug, fed by ditches that collect water from the surrounding meadows. The aim is to encourage the reproduction of numerous species adapted to this environment.
A number of other features have also been added, including a picnic area and benches. At the end of the same year, an observation post will be set up to provide a better view of the flora and fauna without being seen, a multi-generational activity area will be created and educational information panels will be installed.
There are 2 entrances: one from the cemetery car park, avenue Jean Mermoz; the other further west, chemin de la Furguaie.
