Parc des Dryades
The Park is a small wood converted into a public garden by the Société Immobilière de La Baule Les Pins. It was inaugurated at the same time as the Plage de La Baule Les Pins on 1 July 1923. Louis Lajarrige bought the park in 1937 and donated it to the commune in 1951. More than three hundred ornamental, deciduous and coniferous trees and almost twenty thousand plants grow in more than 25,000 square metres of parkland.
The park's amphitheatre was renovated in 2006. It seats a maximum of 1,400, but can hold 2,000 people. 20 seats in front, at the bottom of the tiers, are accessible and reserved for people with reduced mobility.
