At Souligné sous Ballon, the Villa Hortense opens the doors to its "Poetry Garden"... "Bernadette's roses are a poem in themselves. Climbing or shrubby, heady as can be, their violet or crimson corollas are wreathed in a froth that oscillates between gold and aniseed.The garden is open on the 2nd Sunday of every month, and all year round for groups by prior arrangement.
