AIRE DE LOISIRS DES DOUVES

Right in the heart of the town, the Les Douves leisure area in Beaufay is a veritable green lung covering more than 10 hectares. It features a lake (swimming is not permitted), children's play areas, sports fields, an educational orchard and a fun trail with information panels on biodiversity. This site is a refuge area listed by the Ligue de Protection des Oiseaux (League for the Protection of Birds) and by the APIcité label for the protection of bees and wild pollinators. It is also the starting point for 35 km of well-marked, hedged hiking trails, accessible on foot, by bike, on horseback or by carriage.
