Jardin Renoir

Small, partially shaded garden overlooking the Noëveillard beach, located at the entrance to Pornic marina.

A tribute to Renoir

The name of this garden refers to the visit of the famous Impressionist painter to Pornic. During his stay in the summer of 1892, Pierre Auguste Renoir painted several canvases of the seaside resort, including a reproduction of "La Plage de la Noëveillard".
The painter's stay is covered in one of the guided walking tours offered by the Intercommunal Tourist Office entitled "ARTISTS OF YESTERDAY IN PORNIC".

This garden has a few benches.
