Gîte les Trottières

Welcome to the Trottières gîte, in the heart of the Normandy Maine Geopark and close to the Normandy spa town of Bagnoles de l'Orne.

Situated in the heart of the Parc Normandie-Maine and close to Bagnoles de l'Orne (spa), our country house sleeps five people.
It comprises a living room with fireplace and TV, and three bedrooms:
- two on the ground floor, accessible from the living room
- one upstairs, accessible via bedroom 2 (miller's staircase);
as well as a fitted kitchen, a shower room, a separate toilet and a large enclosed garden of 500m² (with garden furniture and barbecue). Just 250 m away, a river in a small valley forms part of the landscape and offers the opportunity for bucolic walks or fishing (river fishing permit required). Bicycles are available for rides through the bocage.

The hamlet where the house is located is ideally situated. You can discover
- historical sites: Château de Lassay les Chateaux, Gallo-Roman site at Jublains
- natural sites: the Alpes Mancelles with the villages of Saint-Léonard-des-Bois, Saint Céneri-le-Gérei, Pré-en-Pail (Mont des Avaloirs lookout point), the Gorges de Villiers, etc.
- Bagnoles de l'Orne 16 km away, with casino, golf course, thalassotherapy centre and swimming pool.

Information about accommodation:

- deposit on arrival: cheque for €300 (for a one-week stay)
