Fishing from the pontoon of the gîte in Mayenne, or simply recharging your batteries

Do you dream of fishing from the terrace of your gîte? To see the pond as far as the eye can see? Having a fishing room to store your equipment? Then this is the gîte for you.
Les Iris is a gîte built at the foot of the water, with a balcony nicely enclosed by balustrades and extended by a pontoon for fishing (access by door). The pond is 15,000m² and is stocked with carp, roach and tench.
The terrace is covered.
Spend a holiday away from it all and recharge your batteries in nature.

If you want to fish in the river, choose the Moulin de la Futaie (H53G010927), a category 1 gîte on the river.

If you're not an angler, there are some great walks to be had.

Don't miss Pontmain, a pilgrimage town linked to the apparition of the Virgin Mary, and its magnificent cathedral, 6km away. Fougères castle and medieval town 14 km away.
And why not take a trip to Mont Saint Michel, 1 hour's drive away (55 km).

If you're going as a group, you can rent up to 3 gîtes for 15 people. Each gîte is independent and has its own leisure areas. There are no neighbours. The most secluded is Les Iris, the only one overlooking the 15,000m² lake. Le Pré des îles, H53G010903, sleeps 6, with fishing pontoon on a smaller private lake, 600m² approx. Le Moulin de la Futaie, H53G010927, sleeps 5, allows fishing in the river, category 1, fishing licence required.
