Its rare granite slopes follow the Maine river before it flows into the Sèvre, and produce the famous Cru Château-Thébaud, recognised by the INAO for its mineral and gastronomic qualities. Our speciality: Muscadet Sèvre et Maine sur Lie.
These are great "Sur Lie" wines that are kept in vats or barrels, which is what makes them so original and gives them the best expression of the terroir and excellent ageing potential.
