It was in the 19th century that the House of Veuve Amiot achieved international renown. In 1884, its founder, Elisa Amiot, a widow for 2 years, took control of her destiny and founded her own fine bubbles house, determined to conquer the world.

From the vine to the bottle, Veuve Amiot controls the entire production process using the Traditional Method, with a constant concern for quality. Each stage of the production process is carefully monitored: selection of the cuvées, blending, bottling, fermentation and ageing in the tufa stone cellars, disgorging and packaging.
