L'Huîtrière de Fromentine - Lecossois David

David Lecossois is Mr Oyster in Fromentine, a farmer / supplier, who farms his oysters in the Bay of Bourgneuf in Fromentine.
The oyster farm is located on the “petite plage de Fromentine” and is open every day all year round.
Oyster farming hut created in the 1950s. Oyster parks are located in Fromentine and production takes place on site (sorting, packaging, calibration, dispatch and sale).

Oyster farm guided tour.
A 1 hour 30 guided tour of our establishment will allow you to discover all the secrets of oyster farming. At the end of the visit, you will be able to taste oysters (5 oysters, bread, butter, lemon and a glass of Muscadet wine).
Guided tours every Wednesday at 10am and 4pm in July and August, 4pm in April, May, June and September. You can book your visit alone (Visit only or with tasting).
Disabled access, groups welcome.

When you visit our pools, you will be able to see many different shellfish, like our star products Fromentine Oysters direct from our beds, mussels, clams, cockles, flat oysters, seafood platter depending on availability.
