A place where you can discover the art of heliciculture, from breeding to processing, offering a unique opportunity to learn about an exceptional met.Raphaël Poncet took over from Anne and Eric Oblin, who have been based in Cornillé-les-Caves since 1989. He raises and cooks around 300,000 'gros gris' snails in open-air, grassed parks. The snails are fed on locally-grown plants, supplemented with cereals. Raphaël prepares his snails according to traditional recipes, using only fresh produce: garlic, shallots, parsley, butter, etc.
