Change your meat and eat some squab! Pigeon meat is red, fine and lean. It can be cooked in a variety of ways (boiled, roasted, grilled), well-cooked or pink, hot or cold, and can be served with a wide range of dishes.
Dominique Fouchard invites you to discover his products: pigeons (ready-to-cook, cut up) and processed products (pigeon rillettes, pigeon terrines, pigeon sauté with Anjou Rouge).The farm consists of 9 buildings housing 340 to 420 pairs of pigeons, plus a shed for storing feed and equipment, all on 1.5 hectares. The farm comprises 2,800 pairs, including the breeding of future pairs.
All these products are available for sale directly from the farm, by prior order.
At the Angers markets (Place Leclerc) on Saturday mornings, and at La Ferme Angevine on Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings. Also in the specialist shop: Les Fermes Baugeoises (Saint-Sylvain-d'Anjou).
