CHOCOLATERIE MATHEZ
Located in Châteauneuf-sur-Sarthe, the Mathez chocolate factory specialises in the production of cocoa truffles, which are now internationally renowned.
Founded in 1934, Chocolat Mathez specialised in the production of cocoa truffles. In 1996, current managing director Eric Fischer bought the family business and gave it a new lease of life.With a team of skilled and motivated employees, he developed the business by creating ever more innovative recipes and packaging: Fancy truffles, pure butter truffles, organic truffles and Fairtrade truffles, all available in plain or flavoured varieties.
Today, Chocolat Mathez is one of the leaders in the international truffle market, with over 50 products to delight chocolate lovers.
The shop is open from Tuesday to Saturday and on Mondays in November and December.
