The Rouanneraies site, owned by the Sarthe Federation for Fishing and Protection of the Aquatic Environment, is a natural setting nestling in the heart of the Sarthe Valley, 13 km south-west of Le Mans, in the commune of Fillé-sur-Sarthe.
The 8-hectare lake is already well known to anglers. It is one of the 'hot spots' for fishing near Le Mans, not only for its carnivorous fish but also and above all for its carp population.It's also a popular spot for walkers, who can easily make their way around the lake while observing the many birds that inhabit it.
As far as fishing and management are concerned, this is a continuation of what has been done in previous years, offering anglers a fishing offer that complements that of the "Discovery" lake, with the possibility of fishing every day of the year.
