Come aboard at the Porte-Bise nautical base in Tiercé and let yourself be charmed by its picturesque landscapes and islands of nature, passing by the rivers and their currents. Discover the local flora on an orienteering trail that will arouse the curiosity of young and old alike. Enjoy a quiet outing with family or friends around the islands of Porte Bise and head down to Cheffes, where a short white-water section awaits you, as well as a trip back up through the lock.

Or on the Loir...
The meandering Loir, where merchants once sailed to transport stone, lime, glass or ceramic tiles, or even coal, is now a peaceful waterway lined with private mills. Often compared to a small Dordogne, it offers shapes and colours that soothe the spirit. Once bordered by one of the pilgrim routes to Santiago de Compostela, the Loir can now be crossed by canoe... provided you know how to get past its dams.

You can also hire stand-up paddles at the base. These are fun, easy-to-handle boards on which you can try your hand at stand-up paddling.
