Fancy a quiet spot of fishing? Go to the Blandinière pond in Saint-Calais-du-Désert.

Whether you're with friends, family or on your own, there's always a friendly atmosphere at the Blandinière lake, and a good catch is always on the cards.
From the opening (1st Saturday in February) to mid-July, the aappma Union de la Blandinières releases 50-70kg of trout every fortnight (on Saturdays).
The one-hectare lake was created in 1967 and is equipped with shelters, picnic tables, dry toilets and a barbecue.
The fishing season ends on the last Sunday in October.
