Bac à chaîne de Boudré entre Montreuil sur Loir et Seiches sur le Loir
Welcome to the Basses Vallées Angevines. This ferry links the two banks of the Loir between Montreuil sur Loir and Seiches sur le Loir in Anjou (Forêt de Boudré).
The Communauté de communes Anjou Loir et Sarthe has two pedestrian ferries so you can cross the Loir on foot or by bike!The Boudré ferry is currently operational.
These non-motorised ferries enable you to cross the Loir:
- between Montreuil-sur-Loir and Seiches-sur-le-Loir (Boudré),
- between Baracé and Seiches-sur-le-Loir (Prignes).
Picnic tables are also available for a break by the water.
There are a few guidelines to follow when using these ferries:
* Do not take more than 6 people on board.
* Spread the load over the ferry
* Wait until the ferry has stopped before disembarking.
* Minors must be accompanied
* Do not tie up the ferry
