SENTIER ERDRE-CENS-GESVRES

A lovely walk between the Cens and Gesvres rivers, two tributaries of the Erdre. These green corridors are pleasant to walk in all seasons.

Close to the centre of the conurbation, this 11km walk offers an amazing change of scenery and an incredible variety of panoramas.
Woods, rivers, marshes and clearings follow one another along the Gesvres Valley trail. An almost wilderness in the city!
If you continue your walk, after skirting the racecourse and crossing the small wooden bridges over the river, you will have reached the Vallée du Cens. Rising in Vigneux-de- Bretagne, the Cens flows through Sautron, Orvault and Nantes, before emptying into the Erdre, "the most beautiful river in France", according to François 1er.
Hush... Only the murmur of the wind and the lapping of the water will disturb the silence of your walk.
