Go on an adventure with P'tit Malo in Bécon-les-Granits! A mysterious notebook, a fun trail, and a plunge into the history of granite quarrying through the village. Start in front of the Musée du Granit.

Hello and welcome to Bécon-les-Granits.
My name's Malo, but here in Bécon-les-Granits, everyone calls me P'tit Malo. I owe this nickname to my great-grandfather, who was quite a local character! His name was Henri Leblanc, but everyone knew him as Marsouin. Why this funny nickname? Well, he came from Saint-Malo and had served in the navy... Result: Marsouin for everyone!
Grand-papi Marsouin was a real legend in Bécon. He worked with stone, he sculpted, he knew every rock, every cliff.
And guess what? Thanks to my grandfather and my dad, I got my hands on an old notebook full of notes, sketches and anecdotes about his life.
anecdotes about his time. The notebook was found near the old Roche Bleue quarry, and it tells of a mysterious trail, a life-size treasure hunt through the village.
The notebook also tells us a great deal about the granite quarrying trade and the places where granite quarrying used to be, some of which still exist today, others a little transformed... but all full of stories!
