De la mer à la mer

Starting from the Marche aux Bœufs, hikers can enjoy the coastal path as far as Pont-Mahé Bay, then walk along the beach before entering the Site Naturel Remarquable de la dune de Pont-Mahé. The latter offers a very pleasant walk, shaded by trees and punctuated by superb views over the bay. From the village of Pont-Mahé, hikers can enjoy the aquatic atmosphere of the Caire marshes in summer, and make a detour to discover the Caire fountain and its biodiversity, recently restored with the help of Cap Atlantique. For the rest of the year, you can walk in complete safety along the greenway that runs alongside the main road as far as the village of Caire. The route then continues along the small roads and lanes of the surrounding countryside, with its trees and hedgerows, for a leisurely return to Marche aux Bœufs.
