Circuit de la vallée du Rutin et de la Bienne

This route takes in a valley classified as Natura 2000 and the outskirts of the Perseigne forest.

Situated between Mamers and the Perseigne national forest, Saint-Longis is part of the
Normandie-Maine Regional Nature Park. The village of 500 inhabitants is characterised by the importance of its agricultural land and is crossed by the Rutin. This stream forms a
valley with a rich natural heritage.

Things to see along the way:
- Saint-Pierre and Saint-Longis church;
- The Rutin and Bienne valleys;
- panoramic views of the Perseigne forest and Mamertine countryside;
- The church of Saint-Rémy in Villaines-la-Carelle;
- The Grande Fontaine washhouse.
