Ritama Yoga

Hatha Yoga classes and sound baths with Ritama, certified Yoga Alliance yoga teacher.

Hatha yoga aims to master the mind and find inner calm through bodywork, mantras, breathing, meditation and mudras. In this way, it promotes physical, psychological and spiritual health.

Ritama takes you to India through traditional yoga. She adapts her classes to suit all levels, with each asana offered at a different intensity in harmony with the body's needs.

It can also help you :

guide you towards a regular practice,
learn more about the culture of yoga,
help you work on breathing techniques by distinguishing between prāṇa vyāyāmas (active breathing exercises) and prāṇāyāma (slowed breathing accompanied by breath retentions).



Individual, couple, group sound bath:
Sound baths bring an intense sensation of relaxation and well-being and rebalance energy pathways.
The sound travels through every cell in our body and the vibrations cleanse deep down. This meditative quantum experience has a real cleansing, regenerating, purifying and harmonising effect on the body, using the energies of the 5 elements of nature (fire, earth, air, water, ether).
Group sound bath sessions and individual, family or team sessions. Everything is customisable and à la carte.

Where do the classes take place?


Face-to-face classes in Pornic: in Ritama's studio - Pornic centre (behind the town hall), in her garden at Gourmalon, at private homes and on the beaches depending on the weather. Please contact Ritama for a 1st lesson.
Home classes: Ritama, a former nurse, coach and holistic therapist, also gives private yoga classes at home for personal guidance.
In-company classes all over France in small groups. Available on mats or chairs.



Practical information:


Lessons are also à la carte, there is no compulsory annual package. Do you feel like it during the week or at the weekend? Call Ritama, she'll improvise classes according to demand, and there are often more classes scheduled than those shown on the networks, especially at weekends.
Register on the Ritama Yoga facebook group if you're really interested in joining other yogis (if not, don't join as the group remains private).

Did you know?
Trained in France and India, Ritama has been practising yoga since childhood. A professional dancer, she loves to combine beauty, aesthetics and honouring her body with every practice.
